Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is a massive open-world role-playing game coming to Nintendo Switch on March 20. The game takes place in the year 2054, where Earth has been destroyed and a colony ship of human survivors has crash-landed on the alien planet of Mira. Players must customize their main character and fight to carve out a future for humanity on this dangerous world.

The Definitive Edition includes enhanced visuals and new features, such as exploration of Mira's five continents, each with distinct biomes, weather, and organisms. New Los Angeles is the center of human activity on Mira, where players can interact with allies and residents, purchase new weapons and gear, and more.

The battle system is fast-paced and action-packed, with a variety of customizable special attacks and skills called Arts. Players can join the Builders of the Legacy After the Destruction of Earth (BLADE) organization to assist the residents of NLA and Earth's survivors, completing missions to strengthen their affinity with party members and gain rewards.

Skells are powerful armored vehicles that can fly, transform into a vehicle, and wield immense strength in battle. Once players prove themselves to BLADE, they can pilot their own Skell. Online features allow players to join a squad of up to 31 other players and work together to complete tasks.

Players who purchase the digital version of the game on Nintendo eShop or My Nintendo Store by April 6 will receive an in-game Exploration Support Package containing helpful items. Additionally, players who purchase the physical or digital versions of the game from GameStop will receive a code for the pack.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is available to pre-order now, and Nintendo Switch Online members can save on the title with Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers. The game includes new story content exclusive to the Definitive Edition.
