Kuro Games has announced the release of its award-winning action RPG, Wuthering Waves, on PlayStation 5. The console version offers cross-platform compatibility with PC and mobile devices and includes content from previous updates, as well as the massive Version 2.0 update. The update launches simultaneously on all platforms and introduces a new continent, Rinascita, a nation of independent city-states.

Version 2.0 brings a main story shortcut feature, allowing players to access new storylines and areas by completing specific quest notes early in the game. The update includes a new region with eight areas, characters, character skins, bosses, echoes, gameplay, and optimizations.

Rinascita is a nation of independent city-states, known as the "Land of Echoes" due to the widespread use of Echoes. The people of Rinascita share a deep belief in their Sentinel and a love for music and art. The Carnival, one of Rinascita's most significant festivals, has been revived after many years of suspension.

The update introduces new characters, including Carlotta, the second daughter of the Montelli family, and Roccia from the Fool's Troupe. Wuthering Waves also features new weapons, skins, outfits, bosses, echoes, and open-world gameplay. The game's gender switch feature, UI simplified mode, and portable synthesizer are some of the optimizations included in the update.

Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play, cross-platform, open-world action RPG that emphasizes dynamic movement and freedom of exploration on a mysterious, post-cataclysmic, sci-fi planet. The game features fast-paced PVE combat, a deep storyline, breathtaking art and atmosphere, and addictive action-RPG combat suitable for novice and veteran RPG players alike.
