Crytivo and Crazy Goat Games are excited to announce their participation in Steam's October Next Fest with the upcoming Lovecraftian city-building game, Worshippers of Cthulhu. The game is set to release on October 21, 2024, and allows players to lead a fanatical cult with the ultimate goal of awakening Cthulhu, the Great Old One.

In Worshippers of Cthulhu, players build religious structures, manage resources, and perform dark rituals to reshape their followers and gain favor with Cthulhu. The game combines resource management, deep narrative, and strategy in a chilling Lovecraftian world. Players must balance Cthulhu's Patience with their cult's Fanaticism to ensure survival, while making fateful decisions that influence the cult's fate.

City-building is a key feature of the game, with players building cities across multiple islands, managing resources and production chains to support the cult's growth. Players must ensure their followers stay happy and connected while adapting to the unique challenges of each new island. Dark rituals can be performed to reshape followers, carve symbols on their bodies to alter their specializations, or burn them in rituals to gain favor with Cthulhu. Summoning demonic entities is also possible by sacrificing followers, commanding these beasts to fight alongside the cult.

Worshippers of Cthulhu offers players a range of choices, from converting non-believers into loyal followers to sacrificing them to summon eldritch horrors. Every decision made influences the cult's fate, unlocking new strategies and shaping the ruler's identity.
