Witchbrook Arrives This Winter: A Magical Life-Sim for Up to 4 Players

Pc Games Nintendo Switch Microsoft Xbox Indie Game Role Playing Game Early AccessChucklefish, a UK-based independent game developer and publisher, has announced that their much-awaited game, Witchbrook, will be released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox this Winter. The game is a magic life-sim, co-developed with Robotality, and will allow up to 4 players to explore the game in online co-op multiplayer.
Witchbrook is set in the seaside city of Mossport, where players will attend Witchbrook College and learn new magical abilities to support the community. The game features a variety of activities, including making friends, finding love, foraging in the deep woodland, selling crafts at the Sunday Market, and taking part in seasonal events. Players can also customize their cozy woodland cottage and transform the surrounding garden, as well as express their unique aesthetic with customizable clothing, hair, and accessories.
The game is a love letter to thoughtful living, the quiet magic of slow moments, and the connections we share with each other and the world around us. Chucklefish has embraced a 4-day work week and a no-crunch policy to ensure that the team feels valued, rested, and supported, and the mindful and deliberate pace of Witchbrook delivers this experience to the players.
Witchbrook will be available in English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. Chucklefish is an independent game developer and publisher that has developed and published games such as Starbound, Wargroove, Risk of Rain, Stardew Valley, Eastward, INMOST, Wildfrost, and Loco Motive. Robotality is an independent game development studio that has developed games such as Halfway, Pathway, and Wargroove 2 and is co-developing Witchbrook with Chucklefish.
