Mindscape, Aesir Interactive, and Sleeprunner Studios have released the first expansion, Winter Wonderland, for the remastered version of Windstorm: Start of a Great Friendship. This expansion takes players to a snowy Alpine landscape filled with holiday cheer and winter activities. The Winter Wonderland DLC is now available on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A Complete Edition bundle, which includes both the remastered game and the Winter Wonderland DLC, is also available.

In Winter Wonderland, players join Mika and her horse, Windstorm, on a winter adventure filled with new missions, such as sleigh rides, snowball battles, and the search for seasonal collectibles. Players will help Mrs. Kaltenbach prepare for a winter fair by setting up festive stalls, decorating the courtyard with sparkling lights, and loading Mika’s sleigh with gifts as they explore new areas and participate in seasonal activities.

The Winter Wonderland DLC features stunning winter scenery, new missions, special winter outfits for Mika and Windstorm, rare winter plants and hidden collectibles, and 10 additional achievements and 10 extra trophies. Windstorm: Start of a Great Friendship - Remastered offers upgraded graphics and gameplay improvements, creating a memorable adventure in a richly detailed Alpine setting.
