The cycling adventure game Wheel World, developed by Messhof and published by Annapurna Interactive, is set to release in Early 2025 for Xbox Series X & S, PlayStation 5, and PC as part of Game Pass. The game was previously known as Ghost Bike, but the name was changed to better fit the game's evolving narrative and tone. Wheel World is Messhof's first 3D game, made with Unity, and features a physics library, a big team, and a real narrative with characters and dialogue boxes. The game is an open-world cycling adventure where players take on the role of Kat, a young cyclist on a mission to save Wheel World from total collapse. The game features high-stakes races, customizable bikes, hidden secrets, and an original soundtrack from Italians Do It Better. Wheel World is currently available on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation. Messhof is a game development studio founded in 2013 by Mark Essen and Kristy Norindr, known for their award-winning games Nidhogg, Flywrench, and Nidhogg II. Annapurna Interactive, founded in 2016, works with game creators from around the world to develop and release personal experiences for everyone and has an award-winning portfolio of games including Stray, Neon White, Outer Wilds, and more.
