The popular medieval open-world tactical RPG, Wartales, has launched a new DLC called "The Tavern Opens!" In this DLC, players can now establish and manage their own tavern, which can serve as a new funding path for their band of mercenaries. They can recruit staff, specialize in cooking and brewing techniques, and attract different factions of customers by catering to their preferences.

The DLC also introduces a new profession, the Brewer, and the ability to leave companions in reserve, both of which are available for free alongside the DLC launch. Players can monitor their tavern's progress, climb the ranks, and engage in corporate espionage to secure their tavern's success.

The base game of Wartales has also received updates, with the addition of the Brewer profession and the ability to leave companions in reserve. The game is available for $XX on Windows PC via Steam with language support in English, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, and Portuguese.

Shiro Games, the independent Bordeaux-based studio that developed Wartales, has a history of creating successful games such as Evoland, Evoland 2, and Northgard. Wartales has sold almost 1 million units since its release in April 2023, and "The Tavern Opens!" is its latest DLC addition.

Overall, "The Tavern Opens!" DLC offers a new and engaging way for players to manage their resources and expand their influence in the world of Wartales.
