Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II Announced - Play as Necrons in Sequel

Kasedo Games and Bulwark Studios have announced the sequel to the popular turn-based tactical game, Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus. The game, titled Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II, will be available on Windows PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The announcement was made during the Warhammer Skulls Showcase, an annual festival for licensed video games by Games Workshop. The reveal trailer for the sequel was premiered at the event.

In Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II, players will have the option to battle as the Adeptus Mechanicus against the awakening of a Necron tomb world or as the Necrons for the resurgence of their dynasty. The game will feature multiple campaigns, with strategic gameplay allowing players to manage their territories' garrisons and assemble forces for each mission.

New environmental mechanics will require players to maneuver their forces like never before, playing to their chosen faction's strengths and weaknesses. The game's music and audio design will be handled by critically acclaimed composer Guillaume David, while the narrative will be written by veteran author Ben Counter.

Kasedo Games is known for publishing high-quality indie titles, while Games Workshop is a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of fantasy miniatures and games. Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II is expected to build on the success of its predecessor and offer an immersive and engaging gaming experience for fans of the franchise.
