Warframe's Dante Unbound Update: New Warframe, Weapons, and Mission Types

Digital Extremes, the developer of the popular game Warframe, has announced the release of a new update called "Dante Unbound" which will be available on March 27, 2024, for all current platforms. The update will introduce new enemies, weapons, mission types, and the return of the community-made cosmetic program, TennoGen.

The new Warframe, Dante, will have the ability to cast Light or Dark Verses, which will increase allies' max health or inflict Slash Damage on nearby enemies. The pattern of abilities used will change the spell combo's ultimate finishing ability, Final Verse. Dante was once an academic confidant to the legendary Entrati family, but after encountering an artifact known as The Book, his mind was infected with "wrongtongued words," leading to his disappearance.

The update will also introduce a new challenging mission type, Deep Archimedea, which is an amalgamation of three different existing mission types that must be played in succession with no breaks, and the mission changes every week. Players will also encounter a new enemy addition to the Murmur faction, the Gruzzling, which is a greedy space goblin full of loot and has plenty of tricks to protect its gear hoard.

Two new Incarnon weapon rewards, the melee fist weapon, Ruvox, and the arm-cannon, Onos, have also been "unbound" alongside these new additions. The Warframe Inaros has been reworked to use a more engaging passive ability, guaranteed status effect triggers, and overall changes to his base ability kit.

The TennoGen program also makes a return with six new cosmetic skin designs for deluxe Warframes, swords, ships, and more. The Dante Unbound Update will include various changes and improvements, and players can find more information and patch notes on the Warframe website.
