Big Moxi Games, a Brazilian-American game development studio, has announced a demo for their upcoming game, Wardens Rising. The demo will be available for download from July 29th, 2024, as part of Tower Defense Fest on Steam. To celebrate the announcement, the studio has released a new gameplay trailer and a developer diary.

Wardens Rising is a unique blend of action RPG, hero shooter, and base defense gameplay, where players take on the role of Wardens, humanity's last line of defense against an interdimensional threat. The game features both single-player and co-op modes with up to four players. As a Warden, players must strategically build and manage defenses, using towers, traps, walls, and other structures, while also utilizing their Warden's unique abilities to repel enemy hordes.

The game offers a variety of customization options, including five unique Wardens, each with distinct abilities and playstyles, and six SPEC companions. Players can unlock, upgrade, and customize their gear and experiment with different builds and defenses. The game features 24 maps in the story campaign, four bosses, and 12 maps for endlessly replayable co-op missions with random invasions.

The Wardens Rising demo will give players a taste of the game's thrilling blend of action RPG, base defense, and hero shooter gameplay. The demo will include the first part of the single-player campaign and replayable coop multiplayer mission mode maps.
