Warcodes: Explore, Battle, and Scan with the New Warcodia Update

Warcodes, the mobile creature-collection game that allows players to scan barcodes of everyday items to unlock monsters, has received its biggest update yet. Titled "Welcome to Warcodia," the update includes a variety of new features and improvements, all of which were developed with community feedback in mind.

The update introduces the first fully navigable world map, called Warcodia, which includes towns, forests, and arenas to explore. Players can now travel through Zivilon, the capital of Warcodia, and venture into monster-filled regions like the Cursed Forest and Wraith Woods for timed PvE battles. These battles offer new ways to earn rewards and level up monsters.

In addition to exploration, the update revamps the game's social and strategic layers. Players can now add friends via a new friends list feature and look forward to future features like a shared reward and achievement system. The update also introduces Celli's Market, which has a diverse cast of merchants with unique inventories offering a variety of items to upgrade gear, spawn rates, and more.

The "Welcome to Warcodia" update also includes a number of other new features and improvements, such as enhanced arena events, customizable scanner, updated inventory and a player level system. The update is now live on iOS and Android.

Warcodes is developed by Cozy Orchards, a game studio that focuses on integrating artificial intelligence at the core of game design to build experiences that wouldn't be possible without AI. The studio's flagship title, Warcodes, is a groundbreaking mobile game where players scan real-world barcodes to generate unique monsters. Each monster is created using AI, which analyzes the scanned product's data to determine its stats and generate an image that visually echoes the item. This dynamic system ensures no two monsters are the same, transforming everyday products into personalized game content and blurring the line between the physical and digital worlds.
