Wales Interactive, an independent video game developer and publisher, has partnered with Curveball Leisure, a leading global distributor of video games, to release the physical boxed edition of their popular game Sker Ritual in retail outlets worldwide from June 2024.

Sker Ritual, a horror game where players battle hordes of enemies in up to four-player co-op mode, has been successful in digital download stores, reaching top 10 spots on PlayStation, Xbox, and STEAM. The partnership aims to expand the game's reach to a wider audience through physical disc format.

Dr David Banner, CEO of Wales Interactive, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating that Curveball's extensive global distribution network will allow them to put the game into the hands of more players than ever before. Andrew Naunton, Founder of Curveball Leisure, expressed his admiration for Wales Interactive's innovative and engaging games and his pride in partnering with a fellow Welsh company in the video game sector.

Sker Ritual features four unique locations, optional objectives, and easter eggs that progress the story from the Maid of Sker's evil ending. Wales Interactive is a multi-award-winning indie video game and interactive movie developer and publisher, while Curveball Leisure is a leading European video game distributor with an established worldwide network of distribution partners. The partnership marks Curveball's first direct relationship with any game dev team/creator, and both companies are excited to bring Sker Ritual to discerning gamers worldwide in a physical form.
