Pc Games Indie Game Action Game Role Playing GameIndie developer Animation Logic has announced the release of its debut game, Viscera, a twin-stick shooter now available on Steam. Viscera is a gritty, back-to-basics shooter that combines the spirit of classic games such as Crimsonland and Nuclear Throne with a classic sci-fi aesthetic. Players must fight off the mutant horde using over 50 weapons, including traditional firearms and more exotic options like a black hole generator. The game also features an in-depth perk system, with over 80 perks that can enhance or transform the player's approach to each level. Players can climb the global and friends leaderboards, or earn new weapons, upgrades, and unlocks by fulfilling the game's many Steam achievements. Viscera was developed by Egor Semenikhin, a seasoned developer with 17 years of experience at companies like Ubisoft and ZeniMax, who wanted to create a game that captured the spirit of classic shooters and prioritized mechanical purity and raw spectacle.
