Pc Games Indie GameSkydevilpalm and Playtonic Friends have announced that the arcade racer game, Victory Heat Rally (VHR), will be launched on PC and Crunchyroll Game Vault for mobile on October 3, 2024. The game will be available for free to Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan Premium Members worldwide. A demo of the game is currently available at the Indie Arena Booth for those attending gamescom.
VHR was initially intended to be launched simultaneously on all platforms, but due to some development difficulties, the Nintendo Switch launch will follow at a later date. The game features 12 superstar drivers and their machines, with various game modes, including single-player championship, arcade grand prix, and time trial mode. Players can also express their personal style by customizing their rides with exchangeable performance parts and paint jobs.
Playtonic Friends, the studio that brought us Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, launched their publishing arm to help indie developers around the world. Skydevilpalm is a digital art and game development studio founded in 2015 by two brothers from Los Angeles. Crunchyroll connects anime and manga fans across 200+ countries and territories with content and experiences they love, with access to one of the largest collections of licensed anime, simulcasts, events, theatrical, games, consumer products, collectibles, and manga.
