In the game Edenfall, players assume the role of Venya, a red-headed hero on a mission to restore the Crystal of Light and bring peace to the mystical realm of Eden. With the guidance of Alkina, a spirit fox, Venya gains magical powers and learns to transform into different animals, each with their own unique skills. These abilities are useful for both exploration and combat as players traverse through lush meadows, snowy tundras, abandoned desert lands, and flourishing forest lands.

Throughout the game, players will uncover relicts of the First Wardens and learn about the history of Eden and Venya's ancestors. In order to bring peace to the world, Venya must also find inner peace. This is achieved by meditating at distinct serene locations throughout the realm, which grants players the ability to transform crystal fragments into skill points.

Edenfall is developed by Laurenz Baumgartner, also known as Everflux Games, a solo dev from Austria. Baumgartner has a background in architecture and has experience in architectural visualization. In addition to game development, Baumgartner also enjoys making music and has had successful releases as a Drum and Bass producer. Edenfall is his debut game.
