Dust Games, a Barcelona-based game studio, has announced the upcoming release of the demo for their first commercial project, Roombattle. The demo will be available on Steam as of February 10th, 2025, at 7:00 pm CET, and will feature a local multiplayer mode with support for Steam's Remote Play Together. The game is a chaotic cooperative party game where players control adorable vacuum cleaners and compete in matches of up to 6 players.

The Roombattle demo includes three different maps set in a living room, each with interactive elements and obstacles. Players can choose from two minigames: Roombout, where they must keep their vacuum cleaner from falling into the water, and Balloon Rain, where they must pop as many balloons as possible. The game also features six power-ups and two mystery skills that can be used to gain an advantage over opponents.

Roombattle offers a customization feature that allows players to choose from up to 8000 different combinations for their vacuum cleaner. The game is designed to be family-friendly and competitive, making it a great choice for gatherings with friends and family.

Dust Games is a small game studio that participated in the 9th edition of the GameBCN incubation program and the preincubation Level Up. Roombattle is their first game, and it promises to be a fun and engaging party game that will provide hours of entertainment for players of all ages.
