Lunar Games, an independent studio, has announced its upcoming game, My Father Lied, a first-person point-and-click mystery game with Lovecraftian undertones. The game is inspired by 7,000 years of Mesopotamian history and follows the story of Huda, who is searching for answers about her father's two-decade disappearance. The game features both 2D and 360° imagery, making it accessible for high-end and lower-spec PC setups.

A demo of the game is currently available on Steam, and the official trailer has been released. My Father Lied promises to deliver an immersive and unsettling experience, balancing the emotional story of a missing parent with the revelation of ancient lore. The game is set to launch in May 2025 on PC via Steam, with a mobile release planned for a later date.

My Father Lied features 360° immersive environments, optional challenging puzzles, an emotional, lore-heavy narrative, hand-drawn cutscenes, and an original soundtrack. The game's Kickstarter campaign is currently ongoing, with exclusive rewards available for backers, including the chance to record their own in-game voice cameo, own a replica of the Royal Game of Ur, or become a beta tester. If the campaign reaches its final stretch goal, the DLC "My Father Promised" will be developed, expanding Huda's story with new puzzles and deeper mysteries.
