ESDigital Games and Lofty Sky Entertainment's new game, Sky of Tides, was well-received at the Summer Game Fest. The story-driven sci-fi adventure with RPG elements is set in a technologically advanced universe on the brink of war, where players follow Rin as she searches for her missing father and heals the broken planet of Numen9. The game features 32 endings, but balance in character stat categories, rather than min-maxing, leads to the true ending and unlocks an exclusive animated series. This transmedia experience is unique for an indie studio and is designed to appeal to a broad audience, with a focus on inclusivity and strong female representation. Sky of Tides is set to release this year on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
