Pc Games Role Playing Game Indie Game Free To Play

CD PROJEKT RED, the developer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has released The Witcher 3 REDkit, a powerful modding tool for PC. The tool is now available for free to all owners of the base game on GOG, Steam, and Epic Games Store, and features full Steam Workshop integration.

The Witcher 3 REDkit is a repurposed and reworked codebase of REDengine 3, which allows modders to create new quests, characters, locations, and more with advanced features. CD PROJEKT RED has also released full documentation with tutorials and guides to help modders make use of the tool's functionalities.

The release of The Witcher 3 REDkit was accompanied by a trailer showcasing some of the modding possibilities and major features. The studio is also set to release an interview with developers, including Narrative Director Philipp Weber, Expert Quest Designer Danisz Markiewicz, and Lead Quest Designer Błażej Augustynek, to gather their perspectives on modding and game development.

CD PROJEKT RED is a game development studio founded in 2002, known for developing and publishing video games for PCs and video game consoles. The studio's flagship titles include Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher series of games, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, and GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. The Witcher series of games, based on the books by Andrzej Sapkowski, has sold over 75 million copies worldwide and garnered over 1000 awards. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, in particular, has won over 250 Game of the Year awards and has sold over 50 million copies worldwide.
