Pc Games Early Access Action Game Indie Game Free To Play Role Playing GameOutbreak Shades of Horror: Chromatic Split, a survival horror game developed by Dead Drop Studios and built in Unreal Engine 5, is set to release on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on October 25th, with pre-orders for Xbox Series X|S opening on October 14th. PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro enhanced versions will follow in autumn 2024.
Players control Lydia, who must navigate through a zombie-infested Cypress Ridge, using stealth and melee combat to survive. Lydia can use a lead pipe to fend off zombies and access new areas, and later acquire firearms to dismember zombie limbs. The game offers both third-person and first-person views.
Resources are limited, and players must forage for crafting components to create ammo, healing remedies, and more. Choices are crucial, as players must decide what items to keep and which to store away in linked item boxes.
Unreal Engine 5 powers dazzling effects, massive enemy counts, and intense set-pieces, with moody lighting and terrifying sound design. The game includes a photo mode, bonus modes, unlockable cheat codes, hidden costumes, and multiple difficulties.
