On October 24, 2024, Ocellus Services will release The Smurfs - Dreams, a 3D platformer game for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. The game invites players to explore the dreams of their favorite Smurfs and save the Smurf Village from Gargamel's evil plans. The Smurfs have fallen into a deep sleep after eating sarsaparilla treated with a spell by Gargamel. Players must awaken all the Smurfs before Gargamel reaches the village.
The Smurfs - Dreams features solo or co-op gameplay, allowing players to team up with a friend for a two-player experience. The game offers four dreamy worlds, with 12 levels and 16 mini-levels, providing diverse gameplay and captivating puzzles. Each dream unfolds a unique gaming adventure, and players can customize their characters with new clothing and accessories by collecting magic orbs.
Ocellus Services is known for its expertise in video game development, having previously worked on Marsupilami: Hoobadventure. The Smurfs - Dreams promises to offer an immersive and thrilling gaming experience, taking players on an adventure through the farthest reaches of imagination.
Microids, a French video game publisher, and PLAION, a global entertainment company, are also associated with the game's release. The Smurfs - Dreams is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch in physical and digital editions. Pre-orders for the Day One Edition are now available, which includes a 3D lenticular, sticker sheets, a digital thief skin, a digital soundtrack, and a digital artbook.
