XSEED Games, a publishing brand of Marvelous USA, has released an unboxing video for the physical Day 1 Edition of the upcoming game, Slitterhead. The Day 1 Edition is exclusive to PlayStation 5 and includes a copy of the game, original soundtrack CD, 100-page art book, sticker sheet, and a custom branded outer box.

Slitterhead is an action-adventure game set in the neon-lit cityscape of Kowlong, where players take on the role of the "Hyoki," an entity with no memory or physical form. The Hyoki's only motive is to eliminate the monstrous "Slitterheads" that disguise themselves as humans. Players must seek out allies among humans, infiltrate dangerous organizations, and engage in battles using the power of blood.

The game's story unfolds as a suspenseful drama, with players delving into the mystery behind the Hyoki's existence and the appearance of the Slitterheads. Slitterhead is developed and published digitally by Bokeh Game Studio for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via the Epic Game Store and Steam. The game will be released on November 8, 2024, with a digital price of $49.99. The physical Day 1 Edition of the game will be distributed in North America by XSEED Games with an MSRP of $59.99.
