Try Your Skill in Knights Within's Week-Long Demo, Launching Feb 20

Indecision Labs, a San Diego-based game development company, has announced that the demo for their roguelite-extraction game, Knights Within, will be available for one week. The demo was previously showcased at the Steam Next Fest and received a positive response, prompting the developers to make it available to the public.

Knights Within offers a skill-based approach to the genre, which traditionally relies on random number generation (RNG). The game is inspired by popular titles such as Vermintide, Helldivers, and Risk of Rain. It features procedural open maps, allowing players to explore a fantasy-inspired world and engage in combat as knights armed with guns.

The game is set to launch in Early Access later this year and will include features such as 1-3 player co-op, two game modes (mission-based survival and an endless difficulty climber), over 65 gear customization options, 70 random in-mission modifiers, 13 base enemy types, and a procedural boss. The game also includes leveling, unlocks, prestige, and in-game achievement progression systems.

Knights Within is currently available to play on Steam. Indecision Labs is an emerging development company focused on delivering high-quality gaming experiences. Their debut project, Knights Within, is a 1-3 player blend of third-person shooter and melee hack & slash, featuring roguelite elements.
