Pc Games Indie Game Action Game Role Playing Game Early Access Free To Play Nintendo Switch Sony PlaystationFinish Line Games, an independent game development studio, has announced the release of a playable demo for its upcoming retro Sci-Fi Action-Adventure RPG, Robots at Midnight. The demo is now available for free on Steam, and a playable version of the game is being showcased at Gamescom 2024 in Cologne. The game is set in the 1980's Cassette Futurist world of Yob, where players take on the role of Zoe, exploring the world and battling robots. Robots at Midnight features intense souls-like combat, a rich narrative, and RPG progression tied to character growth. The game has been featured in several showcases, including the 41st Annual Golden Joystick Awards, PAX Rising 2024 Showcase at PAX East, and The MIX Showcase in Los Angeles. The full game is set to release in Q4 on PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles, with other platforms to follow. Finish Line Games is a Canadian-based independent game studio that has previously released popular indie games Skully, Maize, and Cel Damage HD.
