Try Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate Demo During Steam Next Fest

Rocket Panda Games has announced that a playable demo for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate (PBBGU) will be available during the Steam Next Fest, from October 14th to 20th. The demo will feature 12 playable characters, each with unique abilities and playstyles, and the full first stage which can be played solo or co-op with up to three other friends locally. PBBGU is a fully reworked version of the original game, launched a decade ago, and has been built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5. The game offers smoother gameplay, cross-platform support, local and online co-op, and Versus modes for up to 8 players. New main characters have been added, and for the first time, users will be able to play as the enemy. PBBGU is set to launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on February 13th, 2025. Players can already wishlist the game, and pre-order the North American Standard ($39.99), and Ultimate ($109.99) physical editions. The Phantom Breaker series started out as a 2D fighting game in 2011, and Rocket Panda Games acquired the Phantom Breaker IP in June 2022 and is committed to maximizing the series’ potential for fans around the world.
