Train Sim World 5 Arrives with Exciting New Releases & Partnerships

Dovetail Games has announced Train Sim World 5, which will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms on September 17, 2024. The game includes three new routes across the UK, Germany, and the USA, as well as new gameplay features such as Route Hopping, Fast Travel, and Conductor Mode. Six future Train Sim World add-ons were also announced, covering Wales and the Netherlands for the first time.

In addition to Train Sim World 5, Dovetail Games announced Train Sim World VR: New York, a standalone virtual reality title exclusive to Meta Quest players. The game features intuitive controls, new game mechanics, and a New York apartment space to explore.

Dovetail Games also announced a partnership with Talewind to develop Train Sim World Tycoon on Roblox, a game that aims to extend the franchise to a younger audience within Roblox's virtual universe. Players will be able to build and manage their own train stations, manage their economy, and drive trains.

Train Sim World 5 is now available for pre-order digitally on Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation®Store, and Microsoft Store. Train Sim World VR: New York can be wishlisted on the Meta Quest Store.
