Germany-based indie game developer J6 Games has announced that its psychological horror game, Tower of Madness, will be released on Steam on October 25, 2024. The game is inspired by Stephen King's The Dark Tower series and follows the story of a middle-aged cowboy named John, who is compelled by an insidious voice in his head to explore a subterranean inverted floating tower.

In Tower of Madness, players will encounter monsters, mystery, and a path to redemption as they ascend the ominous tower. The game is primarily a narrative-driven walking simulator with a tense atmosphere, featuring voice-acted cutscenes and mind-bending physics-defying environments. Players will have to embrace madness to keep their sanity as they navigate through the game.

A demo of Tower of Madness will be available on Steam starting on October 11th, just in time for Halloween. The game follows John, a cowboy who has lived all his life in a small, desert town. One day he starts hearing a voice in his head, preempting the murder of everyone he knows right in front of him. Distraught with no one else to turn to, he follows the ominous voice in his head down into a dry well that opens up into a vast cavern containing a floating upside-down tower. The voice directs John to follow his crows up into the tower.

Tower of Madness is an atmospheric, narrative-driven third-person title that promises to be a thrilling and suspenseful experience for players. With its unique storyline, eerie environments, and mind-bending physics, the game is sure to keep players on the edge of their seats as they unravel the mysteries of the tower and help John find his redemption.
