Indie Game Action Game Nintendo Switch Pc Games Early Access Free To Play Role Playing Game

The fan-made Touhou Project game, Touhou Hero of Ice Fairy, will be released on Nintendo Switch in 2024. The game follows Cirno, the Hero of Ice, on a mission to rescue the kidnapped princess of the Misty Lake from the mysterious Nightmare Miko. Players will travel through various locations in Gensokyo, battling enemies and gathering allies along the way.

Touhou Hero of Ice Fairy is a 2D bullet hell action game where players must dodge and avoid incoming projectiles while attacking enemies. The game features a Courage Meter that builds up with successive strikes, increasing the damage dealt to opponents. Players can unlock new spells and items by progressing through each opponent's battle stages.

The game features a jukebox with jazzy lo-fi tunes, including remixes of Touhou Project songs and original music from Touhou Hero of Ice Fairy. It will be available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese and will have three modes: Arcade, Practice, and Challenge.

Phoenixx, the publisher of the game, was established in 2019 by industry veterans and aims to support innovative and creative developers from Japan and around the world. GAMEPULSE, the developer of the game, is a Touhou Doujin/fan game developer known for creating Touhou Hero of Ice Fairy and Touhou Hero of Ice Fairy: Prologue.
