Tomba! Special Edition Returns in Physical Form: Pre-Orders Start July 19

Limited Run Games and Whoopee Camp have announced a physical collection for the upcoming Tomba! Special Edition, which will be available for pre-order from July 19th to September 1st, 2024, for Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PC. The game will also be available digitally on August 1st for $19.99 USD.

The physical collection includes a Standard Edition, Classic Edition, and Whoopie Edition, each with exclusive posters, soundtracks, and other goodies. A merch line, including Tomba and Pig plushies, t-shirts, hats, and keychains, will also be available.

Tomba! Special Edition features quality-of-life improvements such as save anywhere, rewind, and toggle for analog control. The game also includes a museum, remastered soundtrack, and an interview with the creator, Tokuro Fujiwara.

Tomba! was originally released for the PlayStation in 1997 and received critical acclaim for its unique platforming gameplay. The game follows Tomba, a pink-haired protagonist, as he battles evil pigs and explores stunning 2.5D landscapes.

Limited Run Games is a renowned publisher of physical collector's editions for indie games. They have previously published physical editions for games such as Celeste, Hollow Knight, and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
