TimeMelters Officially Launches: Rewind Time and Defend Doomsday with a Friend

AutoExec Games, an independent developer from Montreal, Canada, has released the 1.0 version of their award-winning strategy and hero defense hybrid game, TimeMelters, on PC via Steam. The game will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X later in 2024. TimeMelters features a unique time-shifting mechanic, allowing players to rewind time and fight alongside past selves to prevent doomsday. The game offers both single-player and co-op campaigns, with a skill tree to enhance magic and mind-bending challenges.

TimeMelters has received several awards, including the Grand Winner at the Ubisoft Indie Contest 2022, Gold Winner of Best Indie Game at NYX 2023, and the Technological Innovation Award at MIGS 2023. The game's time manipulation feature, online cooperative campaign, and varied gameplay phases offer a fresh take on the strategy genre.

The game is inspired by classic games and genre-defining gameplay, with the developer naming the studio after the sense of marvel they felt entering command lines to boot up games like Diablo and King's Quest. TimeMelters aims to recapture the awe of classic games while offering something new and challenging for veteran gamers.
