Thief Simulator 2, the latest installment in the successful game series that combines stealth, simulation, and adventure in a mafia-thief world, is set to be released on PlayStation 5 on July 12th. The game was previously available on PC and will soon be released on Xbox Series X|S in August/September, with a Nintendo Switch version also in development.

Thief Simulator 2 is developed by CookieDev and Ultimate Games S.A., the creators of popular series like Ultimate Fishing Simulator and Electrician Simulator. The game has received positive reviews from players, with over 90% positive ratings on Steam out of more than 35,000 opinions.

The new installment improves on the mechanics and features that players loved in the first game while adding new elements and focusing more on realism. The game is played from a first-person perspective and offers two game modes: story and free mode. Players can engage in various activities, including observation, planning, action, and covering their tracks while liquidating loot.

Thief Simulator 2 features two large locations with dozens of homes and special places like a resort and a gold-holding bank. Players can use a wide range of tools, from crowbars and binoculars to surveillance drones and hacking tools, to complete their thieving activities.

The game offers around 20 hours of fun in a mafia-thief world and includes new features such as an expanded character development system, diverse and extensive locations, a wide selection of equipment, and multiple paths to the goal.

Thief Simulator 2 will be available in several languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Ukrainian. It is a single-player game and will be released on PlayStation 5 on July 12th, 2024, with Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch versions to follow.
