EXOR Studios has announced the release of the third expansion for its action-strategy game, The Riftbreaker. The new DLC, titled "Heart of the Swamp," is now available for $9.99 on PC, GOG, Epic Store, and other PC storefronts. The console releases will follow soon. The expansion introduces a new Fungal Swamp biome, which is filled with unique challenges, flora, fauna, and enemies. Players can also explore the new biome in two new Survival Mode scenarios, complete with unique fauna and flora.

The expansion features more than seventy new technology items, game optimizations, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. The free content update, World Expansion III, is also available, giving all players access to the new Fungal Swamp biome, new Survival Mode scenarios, gameplay mechanics, new creatures, research items, weapons, and defensive towers.

The Riftbreaker: Heart of the Swamp DLC offers an exciting new branch of the Story Campaign, taking place in the Fungal Swamp biome. Players can investigate the massive Great Mushroom Tree, expand their Campaign Mode technology tree, collect information on new creatures, vegetation, and other curiosities, and face fearsome enemies.

The Riftbreaker is an action-strategy game that follows Captain Ashley S. Nowak, also known as the Riftbreaker, who enters a one-way portal to Galatea 37, a distant planet in the far reaches of the Milky Way. The game was released in October 2021 and has received positive reviews from critics and players alike.
