TerraTech Worlds Launches in Steam Early Access: A New Era of Sandbox Survival

Payload Studios has launched its new game, TerraTech Worlds, into Steam Early Access. The sandbox survival game, which was built using Unreal Engine 5, is a successor to the popular game TerraTech and has already surpassed 200,000 wishlists on Steam.

TerraTech Worlds is a multiplayer game that supports up to 6 players and is optimized for large scale simulation. The game takes place on a vast 300km² planet with diverse biomes, dynamic weather, bandit factions, and natural hazards. Players can explore the planet, build vehicles, bases, and automated factories, and forge alliances with other players to increase their chances of survival.

The game offers a rich, immersive experience with collaborative gameplay being essential for survival in the alien frontier. Players can delve into the game's vast world, discover inspiring vistas, and engage their creativity as they build and craft. The game's roadmap includes fresh planets, boss battles, and other content that will be delivered over the next 12 months.

Payload Studios is an independent game developer based in London, founded in 2013 by Russell Clarke and Vincent Scheurer. The studio's debut title, TerraTech, has sold over 1 million copies worldwide and has received several awards. The studio now boasts a team of over 50 passionate developers who continue to work on TerraTech and TerraTech Worlds. The game is available to buy now on Steam, and further information can be found on the studio's website, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram pages.
