Tensori, an independent game development studio based in Jyväskylä, Finland, has announced the release of their exploration game, POOLS, on Steam. POOLS offers an immersive art gallery-like experience that challenges players to navigate maze-like environments with an emphasis on observation and sound. The game features six unique chapters, each lasting between 10 to 30 minutes, and provides a mysterious and tense journey with no monsters, dialogue, or traditional game elements, creating an oppressive atmosphere.

POOLS is inspired by the internet phenomenon 'Backrooms Poolrooms' and takes cues from artists like Jared Pike, Mortain Colors, Matt Studios videos, and the game Anemoiapolis: Chapter 1. The first two chapters maintain traditional Poolrooms aesthetics, while subsequent chapters offer unique interpretations.

The game's features include an immersive art gallery-like experience, maze-like environments, the absence of traditional game elements, sound design that enhances immersion without background music or dialogue, and an evolving game world across six unique chapters with distinct mysteries.
