Tempest Rising Unveils Intense PvP Multiplayer Mode at Gamescom

Saber Interactive and 3D Realms Entertainment have unveiled the multiplayer mode for their upcoming real-time strategy game, Tempest Rising, during the Find Your Next Game Showcase at Gamescom. The game will feature various multiplayer modes, including team games and free-for-all matches, with customizable game lobbies. Players can choose from two factions: the Global Defense Forces (GDF) and the Tempest Dynasty (DYN), each with unique characteristics and strategies.

Tempest Rising aims to offer something for all RTS fans, combining classic base building with fast-paced combat. The game will feature three asymmetrical factions, each with distinct economies and playstyles, and a variety of units with unique strengths and strategic options. Players can look forward to two epic single-player campaigns, skirmishes, custom games, and ranked multiplayer matchmaking with Glicko-2 rating.

3D Realms, led by industry veterans, is a member of Saber Interactive and has published iconic games like Duke Nukem, Max Payne, and Ghostrunner. Saber Interactive is a global publisher and developer with 13 studios in the Americas and Europe, known for developing and partnering with leading developers and publishers for two decades.
