Toronto-based indie studio, Alpha Channel, has announced and released their debut game, TankHead, a roguelite focused on exploration and unique vehicle gameplay. In TankHead, players take on the role of Whitaker, a sleepwalker who illegally ventures into the desolate, post-cataclysmic world of ECA to complete missions and recover high-value items. To survive, Whitaker projects his consciousness into a Needle, a drone that can withstand ECA’s harsh conditions, and pilots a Tank to combat the region’s vehicles and creatures.

The goal is to reach Highpoint City and uncover its secrets while battling formidable TankHeads in high-stakes fights. Players must strategically customize their Tanks with an array of weapons, armor, wheels, motors, and abilities to survive. Combat is tactical, requiring players to expose enemy weak points and strike with precision. After each fight, scavenge the battlefield for resources, salvaging parts to upgrade your Tank or sell for valuable loot.

TankHead’s unique tank warfare system challenges players to master maneuvering and face enemies with the Tank’s armor while protecting vulnerable motors. The game features three beautifully detailed maps and a variety of deadly enemies.
