FatalZone: Outbreak is a zombie apocalypse shooter game where players must fight through hordes of zombies to gather resources and upgrade their base. Players can choose from a variety of characters with unique abilities, weapons, and armor, and can develop their own builds using the game's skill tree and workshop. The game features permadeath, meaning that any battle could be a character's last.

In FatalZone: Outbreak, players can send their characters on dangerous raids to find supply crates containing money, resources, and powerups. Defeating particularly tough foes can also yield chests containing skills such as speed boosts, RPGs, and drones. However, players must be careful, as zombie bites can lead to infection and mutations, which can have either positive or negative effects on a character's physiology.

Upgrading one's base is essential for success in FatalZone: Outbreak. Players can recruit new mercs, patch up injured soldiers, upgrade armor, and acquire new skills and perks at various buildings within their base. Upgrading the base's HQ also allows players to enhance all other buildings, prepare more effectively for raids, and recruit new mercs with unique stats.

The full version of FatalZone: Outbreak will include five locations, nine playable classes, 57 unique perks, nine weapon and offensive skill evolutions, 41 enemy variations, and six difficulty levels, among other features. The game is published by 101XP and developed by Midhard Games, a studio with over 60 mobile, browser, and PC games to their name. FatalZone: Outbreak is available on Steam.
