SEGA of America has announced new details about the multiplayer and battle modes in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, which will be available for the Nintendo Switch family of systems on June 25, 2024. The game features local and online play for up to 16 players in five different modes, including Race, Banana Hunt, Ba-BOOM!, Goal Rush, and Robot Smash. Players can also choose to include up to 15 bots in their matches.

In addition to the Battle Mode, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble also features an Adventure Mode that supports up to 4 players in cooperative play, either online or locally. The game features easy-to-pick-up gameplay with challenging and fulfilling mechanics, and players can customize their characters with over 300 fashionable items. The game also introduces a new Spin Dash technique that allows players to sprint past rivals or create new shortcuts to victory.
