CottonGame, an independent game development studio from Shanghai, China, has announced its latest game, Sunset Hills. This hand-drawn narrative puzzle adventure game has been in development for over 5 years and invites players to join Nico, a former soldier, on a touching journey through a beautifully illustrated Victorian-inspired world.

Sunset Hills features vibrant, hand-drawn art inspired by picture books, rich storytelling, and engaging characters. Players will explore unique cities, solve intricate puzzles, and uncover mysteries, all while being accompanied by adorable puppies. The game offers a relaxing and heartwarming atmosphere, with challenging puzzles that are integral to the story.

The Kickstarter campaign for Sunset Hills is scheduled to launch on June 28. Funds raised will be used to develop the remaining three chapters of the game. Backers of the campaign will receive a digital key for the first two chapters, with additional chapters available as DLC.

Sunset Hills is set to release on Steam in August 2024. CottonGame, founded in 2013, has previously developed popular titles such as "Mr. Pumpkin Adventure" and "Isoland," combining gaming and visual arts to create unique experiences. The studio has a presence on various platforms, including Steam, Google Play Store, App Store, and social media sites like YouTube, INS, Facebook, and others.
