On January 9, 2025, Com2uS announced a major new partnership for its turn-based strategy RPG: Summoners War: Sky Arena welcomes the popular anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba for a special collaboration. This update introduces five characters from the anime, including Tanjiro Kamado, who becomes a demon slayer to save his sister. Players can also summon Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and Gyomei Himejima, some of the most iconic characters from the series.

The Demon Slayer Collab Building adds new content such as mini-games and the Pillar Training. Players can participate in activities like "Speed Race Training," "Obstacle Course Training," and "Wave-Splitting Training" with collaboration characters. The rules of these activities change weekly, offering a fresh challenge and engaging gameplay. The Pillar Training lets players choose collaboration characters to complete stages and earn valuable rewards.

The collaboration characters also appear as rivals in battles against Master X. Players can use 10 Demon Slayer emojis in the chat during the collaboration. A special video illustrates the arrival of Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and Gyomei Himejima in Summoners War, each with powers from the original source and unique attributes.

Five events are available to celebrate the collaboration, offering opportunities to summon special characters and earn exclusive rewards. The events, which run until March 9, include:

* "Himejima Gyomei (Pillar of the Rock) 5★ Acquisition Event"
* "Special Collab Shop Event" to obtain Demon Slayer scrolls
* "Demon Slayer Skill Lab Event": skill enhancement and character evolution for collaboration characters
* "Mini-game Event"
* "Bonus Event": earn additional mystery scrolls until January 26
