Summoners War: Chronicles Collaborates with Evangelion - Meet the Pilots as Monsters

On July 10, 2024, the collaboration between Com2uS's RPG Summoners War: Chronicles and the famous anime Evangelion is starting. Four pilots from the Japanese license will make their debut in Chronicles as Monsters: Shinji, Asuka, Rei, and Mari. These pilots will battle against an Angel that has appeared and will use the Lance of Longinus to fend off the Angel Mordo. Each pilot has two attributes and a unique class and uses weapons from their original material.

Shinji, a guerrier type monster associated with water and darkness, uses the Lance of Longinus for close combat. Rei, a knight type monster with wind and light attributes, protects allies with her ESV shield. Asuka, an assassin type monster with fire or darkness attributes, specializes in attacks from behind with her Progressive Knife. Mari, an archer type monster with fire and light attributes, uses her Pallet Rifle and Super Electromagnetic Crossbow Gun for long-range attacks.

Each character has unique abilities and skills. Shinji Eau has a passive ability that increases damage and reduces damage taken as the distance from the target increases. Rei Vent can remove beneficial effects from enemies and increase her defense. Rei Lumière can cancel the target's attack skills with a certain chance. Mari Feu deals long-range damage with her Pallet Rifle, and Mari Lumière can remove control effects. Asuka Feu can be resurrected with a passive skill called Auto-repair, and Asuka Ténèbres uses mainly long-range attacks.

These characters will fight in the world of Chronicles with movements and skills modeled after their special techniques from the anime. They can be obtained more easily with exclusive Scrolls added for the collaboration. New content will also be added to help players get to know the new Evangelion characters.
