Sultan’s Game, a narrative-driven card-based RPG developed by Double Cross Studio and published by 2P Games, is now available on PC via Steam. In this game, players step into the role of a courtier in the Sultan’s court, tasked with completing despicable acts outlined in dark cards drawn every seven days. With four categories of cards – Carnality, Extravagance, Conquer, and Bloodshed – players must balance their choices and complete the challenges to avoid fatal consequences.

Set in a beautifully hand-drawn world inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, players can travel through seedy alleyways, brothels, the Sultan’s Palace, and religious temples, encountering various creatures and NPCs along the way. Players can collect resource cards like Gold, Convictions, and Nobles to persuade citizens and sway the royal court, and they can build intelligence and equipment, complete NPC quests, and expand their influence to rise in power.

Sultan’s Game offers multiple endings, and players can carve out their own agency in the Sultan’s game to become a master manipulator. The game features a rich, immersive storyline, and players can navigate a network of intersecting characters and pursue different endings. They can control the Sultan’s fate from the confines of his game, becoming a willing sycophant, plotting regicide, striving for utopia, or even summoning dark gods to end it all.

Sultan’s Game received overwhelming support during its crowdfunding campaign, raising over $275,000 in its first week. The game is now available on PC via Steam in English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. Double Cross Studio, based in Hangzhou, China, is dedicated to polishing every aspect of the game for its highly anticipated release. 2P Games is a Chinese publisher specializing in simulation, strategy, and Metroidvania games for PC and consoles.
