Step into the Shadows: Strange Antiquities Demo Coming June 5th on Steam

Strange Antiquities, the sequel to the popular occult puzzle game Strange Horticulture, has been announced and will be available to play on Steam on June 5th as part of the Next Fest. Developed by the same brothers, this new game takes place in the shadowy town of Undermere, where players will step into the role of an apprentice Thaumaturge in a shop filled with strange artifacts and arcane curios.

The game features the ability to examine, identify, and catalog strange artifacts, with careful reference to illustrated tomes and deduction being necessary to avoid costly mistakes. Players will need to make choices when dealing with powerful items, as their decisions will have consequences in the small town. The game also features hand-drawn maps to guide players through various locations, and puzzles to solve as they uncover hidden secrets within the shop.

Strange Antiquities also includes a familiar feline companion, Jupiter, who demands daily affection and provides comfort to the player. The game is being published by Iceberg Interactive, and players can wishlist the game on Steam, join the game's community on Discord, YouTube, Twitter, and Bluesky, and follow Bad Viking on Twitter, Bluesky, and Instagram for updates.

Bad Viking is an independent game development company based in England, and Iceberg Interactive is an independent video game publisher known for hit franchises such as Strange Horticulture and Killing Floor 2. Iceberg Interactive has several exciting games coming up, including Strange Antiquities, Second Sun, and Radiolight.
