StageTime, a new virtual reality (VR) social platform for performing and sharing talents, is now available on the Meta Quest stage. The platform, created by a former software engineer and the founder of a leading VR karaoke space, allows users to perform and interact with up to 12 friends. It features an intuitive design that lets users join public rooms quickly and easily, without the need to set up an account.

In StageTime, users can personalize their full-body avatars with various hair colors, styles, skin tones, and accessories. The platform also offers voice-synced facial animations, ensuring authentic and immersive performances. Users can also sync and play their favorite videos in real time, and capture and share memories with the in-game LIV camera.

To celebrate the launch, StageTime will host various events during the release week, including Karaoke, Open Mic Nights, Trivia Takedown, and Improvical sessions. The platform is free to download worldwide on the Meta store.

According to founder Hamza Qureshi, StageTime is more than just an app, it's a stage for creativity and connection. The company is committed to a robust content roadmap post-launch, which includes new venues, expanded avatar customization options, and tools to make it easy for businesses to collaborate in VR.

StageTime is developed by Virtuware, a Manchester-based development studio with several years of experience in the VR space. The company aims to create fun and engaging experiences for users through social connections.
