Squeakross: Home Squeak Home - Alblune's New Rodent-Themed Puzzle Game

Alblune, the developer of "The Spirit and the Mouse," has announced its latest game, "Squeakross: Home Squeak Home." This logic-picture puzzle game, which features house decoration and a customizable rodent pet, was unveiled exclusively during the 2024 Summer Wholesome Direct. The game is set to release in 2025 for PC and MAC on Steam and Itch.io.

In "Squeakross: Home Squeak Home," players can customize a rodent companion that assists them in solving puzzles using features like the "Logic Assist Mode." Completing puzzles provides players with furniture pieces and costumes for their rodent. The game features hundreds of puzzles, with each one offering a reward. The rodent interacts with the furniture in the house, making the decoration process even more engaging.

The game offers a nonogram puzzle experience with unique features, such as relaxing puzzle-solving without time limits, a logic assist system for previewing possible solutions, and customizable user interfaces with unlockable stickers. Players can also enjoy "Streamer Mode" to turn off Content ID tagged music.

"Squeakross: Home Squeak Home" is a creation of Alblune, a small indie game development studio consisting of Alexandre Stroukoff and Luka Lescuyer. They are known for their previous game, "The Spirit and the Mouse," released on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation in 2022. Alblune focuses on developing non-violent, immersive games that cater to all ages while incorporating rodents into their creations. More information about Alblune can be found on their presskit.
