Spilt Milk Studios, an independent game developer based in London, has announced the hiring of two new veteran game developers, Lesleyann White and Philippa Warr. White, who has joined the team as a permanent Producer, brings with her experience from Failbetter and Jagex, where she worked on games like Sunless Sea, Sunless Skies, Mask of the Rose, and RuneScape. Warr, who will be working as a Narrative Designer on Spilt Milk's upcoming game Trash Goblin, has previously worked on titles such as A Monster's Expedition, Little Kitty, Big City, and Flock.

Spilt Milk's Creative Director, Andrew Smith, expressed his excitement about the new hires, stating that White's experience and expertise will be instrumental in supporting and championing the team's efforts in delivering games on time, on budget, and with a happy and satisfied group of developers. Warr, on the other hand, will be helping to make the characters and quests in Trash Goblin as smart, funny, and mischievous as she is.

White expressed her enthusiasm for joining the Spilt Milk team, stating that she is thrilled to be able to work alongside such a talented group of developers and support them as they take Trash Goblin into Early Access and beyond. She also mentioned that she has a passion for quality and community input during the development process, having worked with players to bring them immersive games that will delight them for years to come.

Warr also expressed her excitement about working with the Spilt Milk team on Trash Goblin, stating that she specializes in quirky, uplifting indie games and that Trash Goblin felt like a great fit. She also mentioned that she feels like she can bring a lot of personal expertise to the project, being a trash goblin herself.
