Space Engineers' Signal Update: Empowering Remote Automation and Communication

The popular game Space Engineers has received a new update, "Signal," which lays the foundation for a new era of player versus environment. This update focuses on improving remote automation systems, allowing them to communicate and react in new ways. Players can now receive live chat updates from remote satellite arrays, mining drone fleets, or automated defense sentinels.

In addition to these improvements, the update also includes a variety of new features and blocks. The base game has been expanded with the Broadcast Controller, Action Relay, Additional Round Armor Panels, and Compact Antenna blocks. Existing DLCs have also been updated with new content, such as Scaffolding blocks and music note sheets for the Deluxe Edition.

The "Signal Pack" DLC adds even more new blocks, including Truss Sets, Corridor Blocks, Narrow Corridor and Door blocks, Inset Walls Set, and Decorative Console Blocks. The Bay Windows Set and additional tracks for the Jukebox are also included.

The update also includes a number of improvements and changes, such as a scenario selection menu overhaul, death and respawn improvements, added reload bars for static weapons, and improvements to NPC grid claiming and performance. Non-unique items can now be stacked in the inventory, and textures are reloaded after download when using Play Go.

The next update, 1.205, promises to be even bigger, with new resources, end-game blocks, and a deeper dive into PVE encounters. Players can stay up to date with the latest developments by signing up for the newsletter.
