Soulkin, a creature-collecting roguelike game, has officially launched on Steam after a year in Early Access. The update is not just an improvement but a complete transformation of the game with redesigned systems, new creatures, and more.

The new version introduces Squad Selection, allowing players to choose from an expanding roster of uniquely synergistic squads, and multiple protagonist variants with exclusive stats, abilities, and mechanics. The game's exploration has been revamped with a redesigned map, branching paths, and a new biome.

The progression system has also been revamped, with Soulkins and the protagonist now leveling up during runs, unlocking new abilities. Events, NPCs, and shops have been refreshed, giving players more control over their journey and introducing choices that matter. The new Trinket system replaces Artifacts, allowing players to use one-time tactical items in combat.

The new Action System improves battle pacing and responsiveness, making combat feel more dynamic and satisfying. Enemies are now smarter, forcing players to adapt to evolving threats. At the end of every run, players will receive a detailed breakdown of their journey and unlocked content previews.

Due to the scale of these updates, previous save files are not compatible. The game is available on Steam at a price of €/$9.99.
