SOUL COVENANT's Update: Quick Match & Enhanced Multiplayer Experience

Thirdverse Co., Ltd. has released a significant update for its game SOUL COVENANT, a VR narrative action JRPG set in a world where artificial intelligence dominates humanity. The update includes server adjustments for online multiplayer, enabling players to connect with teams across servers through the new "Quick Match" feature. This update also enhances haptic feedback during attacks and allows players to view the status of others on the Avatari Squadron screen.

SOUL COVENANT tells the story of humanity's struggle against the artificial intelligence Adam, who has taken control of the world. Players take on the role of an Avatar, an enhanced human who wields weapons forged from the remains of fallen comrades. The game features a high level of immersion, making players feel one with the protagonist.

The update aims to improve matchmaking efficiency and connect players worldwide. With the new "Quick Match" feature, players can join available teams across servers, providing more opportunities to meet new comrades from different countries and regions. Players can also check everyone's status on the Avatari Squadron screen, giving them more strategic options when joining a room or teaming up with friends.

SOUL COVENANT is developed and published by Thirdverse Co., Ltd., a virtual reality game development, distribution, and management company with two studios in Japan and the United States. The company has experience in sword-fighting multiplayer VR games and has expanded into PvP shooting, narrative-driven VR games, and VR Esports.

SOUL COVENANT is available on Meta Quest 2/3, PlayStation®VR2, and Steam. The game is rated ESRB17+ and was released on April 18, 2024. Players can find more information about the game on the official website, Twitter, Discord, and YouTube channels.
