SEGA of America recently held its fourth annual Sonic Central event, revealing details about upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog games and collaborations. The highly anticipated SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS will launch this fall, with a new story trailer and prologue animations teased during the event. Pre-orders for the Limited Run Games Collector's Edition are available until October 6, including an exclusive Sonic and Shadow Dreamcast statue.

Sonic Rumble, an all-new mobile party game, will release this winter for mobile and PC, allowing up to 32 players to race and collect rings. Sonic Dash, Sonic Dash+, and Sonic Forces will receive new characters, including Valhalla Surge, Oni Mephiles, Warrior Shadow, and Dulce Amy. Sonic Dream Team will also get updates, fresh content, and a new playable character later this year.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble will feature a new Shadow the Hedgehog costume on Nintendo eShop, with free downloadable Sonic and Shadow-themed monkey balls. Two Point Museum will have a Sonic and Shadow themed pre-order incentive, including unique gift shop items, outfits, interactive displays, and decorations. Sonic Racing will receive new updates, including Popstar Amy and Time Trial mode with the SEGA Costume Pack.

Chao Tales, a new animated web-series, was also announced, featuring the adorable fan-favorite chao in eight episodes. SEGA revealed a collaboration with DC and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, launching with a five-issue comic series in 2025 and merchandise spanning numerous categories.

SEGA announced partnerships with LEGO, Topgolf, JAKKS Pacific, PDP, First 4 Figures, HJC Helmets, and Bushiroad Creative to create a wide range of Sonic-themed products and experiences.
